Participants will be asked to implement a science and engineering fair for your class, grade-level or school during the 2018-2019 academic year.
All participants will be asked to complete a survey spring 2019.
We have limited capacity at each site, but will add teachers to a waiting list. Those teachers on the waiting list will be notified if a cancelation occurs but it may be close to the workshop date.
If you register and are unable to attend, the registration fee will be refunded only if notice is given at least 10 days prior to the workshop.
The following topics will be discussed during the workshop:
Learn how to initiate, manage, and evaluate student science and engineering research projects in the classroom. Help students to advance to regional, national, and international competitions.
Planning your school's science fair? New to the process or looking for better organization? This workshop will guide you step-by-step as you plan a school science fair.
Come and learn more about the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) rules, regulations, and forms. Learn tips for reviewing projects for compliance and review some case studies. Bring your concerns and questions.
